Selling your Magic Cards to a local collectibles store is a great option, if you have a store close by. If they like what you have they will probably offer you cash on the spot in a fairly quick and painless transaction. Unfortunately, you probably won’t get the best price possible by selling to a collectibles store because they need to leave room for their own profit to resell it again.
Pawn Shop
Pawn shops have similar pro’s and con’s to collectibles stores, except there is almost always one close by to find, whereas collectibles stores might be a bit fewer and far between. But like collectibles stores, pawn shops price their items to sell fast, so they will most likely offer you less money for your Magic Cards than anywhere else. It is a quick and all-cash transaction though.
eBay
Selling on eBay will usually yield a decent selling price, however the amount of time, effort, money and luck that goes into a successful eBay auction make this a much less attractive option than it may appear to be. Between all the pictures, writing descriptions, paying listing fees, answering questions and then waiting and hoping you find the right buyer, it’s definitely not a good option for everyone.
Craigslist
Similar to eBay, Craigslist is not a very easy method of selling your Magic Cards. And because your listing on Craigslist is somewhat location-dependent, you’ll reach less of an audience of buyers and therefore less likely to yield the best price possible. Again, you may get a decent selling price, but it comes down to a lot of work and a little bit of luck.
